WHAT WE DO
At the core of ABHAS is its commitment to promote social justice and empowerment of people. ABHAS believes in change and practical application of its principles and encourages students who have passed out of school to return as mentors and facilitators, truly becoming the change the community can see, change that is tangible and inspiring when followed. They become beacons of change encouraging and motivating the celebration of education and the benefits it brings.

Within the overarching paradigm of Quality Education is Academic Excellence as it provides access to knowledge, information and learning, and prepares students to face challenges and become thinking individuals.
Another dimension for inclusion is Socio Emotional Learning to better understand community dynamics, pressures and context; and relationships with parents and community influencers. Without this aspect, the ecosystem would not be able to sustain itself.
Equally important in this age, is the advent of ICT. Possessing basic ICT skills gives disadvantaged youth a better chance to cross the opportunities gap and to access more and better employment options. The introduction of computers in ABHAS has been truly transformative. Computer aided learning is integral at ABHAS to ensure that no one is left behind the technology curve.
