ABHAS started its work in the urban slum populations of Kacchi Colony and Churriya Mohalla of Tughlakabad Village. Tughlakabad Village consists of approximately 16 pockets or mohallas. with a population of more than 1,50,000 with about 20,000 residential households. 70% of the population belongs to the majority community and the rest are from other ethnic groups.
